They are beautiful and I love them so much. BUT they do need to be anchored to the wall in order to pass inspection, so if youre putting it in a new build keep that in mind. Ours was on a wall with a closet behind it so it wasnt a big ordeal or eyesore, but it would be difficult to install on a wall where it might show.
